Today, April 13th 2019 would have be Alfred Butts' 120th Birthday.

 

Alfred Butts invented Scrabble during the 1930s, so it him we have to thank for our involvement in the game today.

 

To celebrate here are two quizzes :

 

1. What are the front and back hooks to ALF ? (ie 4 letter words ending ALF and 4 letter words starting ALF)

2. What are the front and back hooks to RED ? (ie 4 letter words ending RED and starting RED)
